Endings & New Beginnings

New Years time is in full swing in Japan.

The week leading up to New Years in Japan can be a bit like the full-on wild ride the week before Christmas is in Western culture. It is a time of the year when people are traveling all over the country, overseas, or they are out shopping for the festivities that will take place in their homes during the New Years holiday.

Christmas in Japan has always been a bit of a challenge for me. I am not sure if I should try to celebrate the holiday, work, or just roll up in a ball and cry because I miss my family back home. I usually end up doing a bit of all of the above.
Christmas Day is just another day in Japan.
Some foreigners do go back home to visit their families and the rest of us take advantage of the Emperor’s Birthday on December 24th and make that Christmas Day for their family. If I want to have a Christmas in my home it is all up to me to make it happen. I do my best for the kids.

This year-end I have been doing my best to stay off social media and take the time to reflect back on 2018 while also working on my goals for 2019. I have had some time to curl up with my Passion Planner and write out what worked well for me in 2018 and what did not work at all. How I can learn and grow from both the positive and negative of 2018. I have also been working a lot this week because this is my time off from teaching English and it gives me the time to get things done with my other projects and doTERRA business.

I hope you all can carve out some YOU time during these last few days of 2018.

Wishing you a beautiful New Years time from my heart to yours.

With much love & gratitude

Autumn In Japan 2017

This is the greatest season in Japan the brilliant colors are mesmerizing, healing and bursting with inspiration. As I walked through this beautiful park this morning to take a break from work and feeling a bit under the weather I couldn’t help but get tears in my eyes while amongst all this beauty. Living in Japan has left me speechless so many times, I have to pinch myself sometimes because even after being here for almost 11 years it still has days where I feel like I just landed here yesterday.

Enjoy the photos.

Siberian Fir

doTERRA is very active with maintaining good sourcing and high-quality standards. Getting White Fir in the sustainable sourcing that we want has become too difficult.

I have some fantastic news for you! We are getting Siberian Fir to take its place! Siberian Fir has a more prominent chemistry than White Fir and it can be used Topically, Aromatically, and for Internal use.

• Diffuse to evoke feelings of relaxation

Here is a diffuser blend I created that will help set a relaxing vibe in the evening.

• Apply to soothe skin irritations
• Apply to calm overactive tissues and ease discomfort
• Blend with Tea Tree, Cedarwood or Flower oils like Geranium to help eliminate blemishes and support healthy skin

• Use 1-3 drops in a capsule to support body systems

• Increases positivity
• Invites an open heart and forgiveness
• Boosts self-confidence

Jasmine Touch

doTERRA released some amazing new oils this week and I am going to cover what I know about each one. I will add more about each oil as time goes on and I learn more but for now here is a taste of what I know.

Jasmine Touch is a 10ml roll-on oil.

Ingredients: Fractionated coconut oil and Jasmine flower.

It can be used Aromatically, and Topically

• It uplifts our mood.

• Reduces the appearance of skin imperfections

• Promotes a healthy-looking, glowing complexion

• Jasmine helps maintain healthy blood pressure levels

• Emotionally, Jasmine promotes feelings of joy, peace, and self-confidence.

Jasmine The Oil of Sexual Purity & Balance according to the Emotions & Essential Oils book. Jasmine nurtures healthy sexuality and helps to balance sexual forces. Jasmine cultivates positive experiences within intimate relationships by encouraging the purification of unhealthy sexual intentions and motivations. It asks individuals to honor and respect themselves and others.

If you have ever walked past a Jasmine bush you know that stopping and smelling the flowers is a must. The smell of Jasmine is amazing. When I lived in Hawaii I would purposely take a walking route that I knew had Jasmine bushes on it. I am so excited for this oil to be released!

I am not sure what the NFR cost of this oil will be for Japan. I have been told that it will be released in November for Japan.
