Arborvitae is a woody, warm, earthy essential oil and is known as the “Tree of Life” oil. This arborvitae essential oil is sourced from the heartwood of the Thuja plicata tree. It is also known as Western Red Cedar and is native to North America (primarily Canada and the Northwestern United States). The sourcing arrangements for this oil are done in an innovative, environmentally-responsible way through distillation of residual wood materials to ensure no trees are unnecessarily harvested for production.

Arborvitae uses include using as a natural insect repellent and can be used as a natural wood preservative. 
•Diffuse to purify the air and repel insects.
•Add 15-20 drops and water to a small glass spray bottle. Spray around doors to repel insects.
•Mix 4 drops of Arborvitae and 2 drops of Lemon for a natural wood preservative and polish.

Yoga & Meditation
•Add 15 drops to a glass spray bottle and use to clean yoga mats.
•Apply a drop of Arborvitae with a carrier oil to your 3rd eye, back of neck and temples during meditation.

Hiking & Gardening
Apply to wrists and ankles while hiking
•Mix in with mulch while gardening

Blends well with Cedarwood, Frankincense, and Birch

Basil essential oil has a warm, spicy, herbal aroma. Basil is a very popular herb that many people relate with Italian cooking recipes. It also has many comforting properties as well.

Mental Fatigue
•Apply on temples and back of neck
•Diffuse to energize the mind

Pain Relief
•Apply topically behind ears for an earache
Apply to temples and back of neck with Peppermint for migraines
Apply to abdomen and lower back to ease cramping discomfort

Insect Bites/Stings
•Apply topically for bug bites and stings

This oil blends well with Lime, Peppermint, and Bergamot

Bergamot

Application:
Aromatically, Topically, and Internally.
Dilute with fractionated coconut oil for young children and sensitive skin.

Bergamot has a citrus, spice, with a high floral note. Bergamot is one of my go-to oils when feeling depressed or when having a lack of self-confidence, it is a very calming oil and helps with focusing on the present moment.

 

Anxious Feelings & Stress Relief 


• Apply to the feet after getting out of the shower in the morning to start the day on a positive note.

• When feeling anxious put a drop in your hands, rub hands together, cup hands over your nose and breathe in the oil deeply 3 times to help you relax.

• Diffuse when feeling overwhelmed.

• Apply to the back of the neck.

• Use aromatically when feeling low self-esteem.

 

Sleep

• Apply to bottoms of the feet before bed and diffuse.

• Diffuse in the bedroom with Lavender or Peace Blend in the evening.

• Massage into areas that affected with muscle pain to help relax before sleeping.
