New Year New Me

New Year New Me

Yes, this phrase is quite popular at the start of a new year don’t click away so fast I am not going to sit here and write about how you can become a better person because the year changed. The truth is, you can do that on any day of any year so why do so many people get hyped up to make big changes at the start of a new year? Some of it is for personal reasons, other reasons are for marketing and some people just like starting fresh when the clock strikes 12 on December 31st. There is no wrong or right about this it just is.

I don’t make big changes when the clock strikes 12 on the 31st of December, in fact, I just keep going with what I have already started and I keep getting better at it. It is like blogging, I started several blogs many many years ago even though I knew I was not a professional writer/blogger and that I am sure I write a million run on sentences and forget to add a comma here and there… But do I care? Nope! I love to write about my lifestyle, who I am, what I do, where I live and so on.

What is my point? Focus. Focus on what you want, not what others tell you to do on January 1st or any day of the week. Get better at the positives in your life and be YOU. In the end that is all you have is YOU. If you want to live a happier healthier lifestyle well then start today or tomorrow or next week…whenever just start. Don’t make a big deal about it just do what you love and put your everything into it. My only suggestion is to make it equal positivity because the world needs more of it.

Here is my yoga mat, it helps me focus and this is where I feel just about every emotion possible as I go through poses with my YouTube Yoga Sensei Adriene. I love going to Yoga classes but when I do my home practice I can sit on my yoga mat and ball my eyes out after a good stretch and no one is going to wonder what the heck is wrong with me. This is my spot. Do you have a place where you can let go or let it go? It is a good place to start if you’re on the path of personal development. Books, podcasts, and walking are good too.

Orange

Orange is known as The Oil Of Abundance

Helps with these negative emotions: Scarcity, overly serious, rigid, dull, workaholic, lack of energy.

This is a FANTASTIC oil to use on diffuser jewelry especially if you are feeling a bit blue during the winter. It is a great pick-me-up!

Companion Oils: Tangerine, Lemon, Ylang Ylang, Red Mandarin

Inhale from the bottle, use a diffuser or add a drop to your hands, rub, and inhale.

Apply 1-3 drops over sacral chakra (upper stomach)


Orange can also help with insomnia and stress. Diffuse or inhale from your hands when you are feeling down, especially in the winter months.

When you are having a difficult time concentrating you can add Peppermint and Orange oil to your diffuser or add one drop of each in your hand, rub, and inhale. This works brilliantly!

For cooking, you can add one drop of Orange to sweets like frostings or chocolate bark.

When using essential oils for cooking and internal use I only use doTERRA Essential Oils. doTERRA does extensive testing on their oils and is absolutely the purest oils I have ever used. You can check the 6 digit number and letter on the bottom of every bottle for the test results by going to this website and adding your number to receive the quality report.

Blue Tansy

Blue Tansy is another new oil release from doTERRA. It will be a 5ml bottle and available for Japan in November and in the US in October.

Blue Tansy can be used Aromatically and Topically.

Aromatically:

Aromatic Description: Sweet, fruity, with subtle floral, camphorous and herbaceous undertones.

Note: Middle

• Diffuse to uplift the mood and create a positive environment
• Use to clear pathways when struggling with seasonal allergies

Topically:

Color: It is advised to use with a carrier oil or to apply in a place where it will not be seen on the skin. It can turn your skin blue but will fade shortly after being applied.
• Massage into sore muscles or take a bath with Blue Tansy to help relieve muscle aches and pains
• Rub on stomach in a clockwise motion with doTERRA’s fractionated coconut oil to help with digestive issues.
• Add to doTERRA’s unscented lotion to help treat acne, dermatitis, and psoriasis as well as helping to soothe dry, itchy or inflamed skin.
